Our inspiration is Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder Father of the congregation of the Mother of Carmel which manages the institution.He was a man of God and a pioneering visionary of education in Kerala in the 19th century. He was versatile genius. vibrant educationalist in Kerala in the 19th century. He brought about effective pedagogical tradition breaking the barriers of illiteracy, casteism, injustice and corruption and radiating the effulgence of knowledge, wisdom, goodness and godliness.
