INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

70th Independence Day was celebrated in Carmel, Ratanpur with full vigour and enthusiasm. The school wore a festive mood when students stepped into the portal of school with patriotic fervour. The day dawned with hoisting of tricolour flag which was followed by march past by N.C.C. and band students.
Principal Rev. Sr. Rose Tom  in her address recalled the great sacrifices made by our great leaders and quoted the words of Bapu, the father of our Nation "Tears wiped off from every eye". A special assembly by X C students highlighted the importance of the day bringing out the important events of the that make our nation proud of its citizens. The other highlights of the day were patriotic songs by the winners of the competition both from junior and senior category, dance, speeches by our staff Mrs. Anju Prasad and a Hindi medium student. On this day prizes were given away to the 10th Board toppers, inter - house G.K. Quiz, Solgan writing competition and paper bag making competition.
