Swachhata Pakhwada was observed at Carmel, Ratanpur.
Swachhata Pakhwada, a cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene drive  was observed from 1st to 15th September 2023 at Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ratanpur, Bhopal.The objective was to promote cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene practices within schools through the active participation of students, teachers, and the community.
The Swachhata Pakhwada witnessed enthusiastic participation of students.The Swachata Pakhwada commenced with
Swachhata Shapath   on 4 th September ,in which  students and teachers vowed to keep their premises and neighbouring areas clean . A special assembly was conducted in which students through songs and skits highlighted the importance of health and hygiene. Dr Neeru  Thakur   shared her insights and practical tips on maintaining a clean environment.
To engage students actively and to instill a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness,
various competitions  like Poster making competition, Bulletin Board Competition, Painting Competition were organized .
On 6 September , Hand Washing Day  was observed . It aimed to emphasize the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, and the significance of regular handwashing in preventing diseases.On the same day , Poster Making Competition and Painting Competition  were organised.
8 th September : Cleaning School Premises. Cleanliness drive was  organized by  both students and staff to ensure that our school premises  remain a clean and healthy place for learning.
8 th September: Bulletin Board Competition. Students enthusiastically decorated bulletin boards  with informative and creative displays related to cleanliness and hygiene.

Swachata Pakhwada at  Carmel, Ratanpur was a successful initiative that encouraged active participation from students in various competitions and activities centered around cleanliness and hygiene.
