INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Carmel Convent, Ratanpur celebrated the Independence Day on in the school premises. It was a resounding success, with students, teachers, and staff coming together to honour the spirit of freedom and pay tribute to the nation's rich history.

The celebration commenced with unfurling of the flag by Mrs. Shakuntala Bharadwaj , a pioneer teacher which was accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem. The sight of the fluttering flag filled everyone's hearts with pride and reverence for the nation. A special assembly was conducted by classes V A and B which filled everyone with patriotic fervour .

Students presented mesmerizing dance performances recounting the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the significance of Independence Day.The celebration also included patriotic songs that stirred feelings of national pride among the audience.

The highlight was a mesmerizing PT display by the students, showcasing discipline and teamwork. Students planted saplings under the campaign named 'Meri Mati

Mera Desh, which was followed by Prabhat Pheries , where all the students moved together holding flags in their hands shouting 'Bharat Maata ki Jay '.

Vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Girl Manya Shrivastava.

The celebration left a lasting impression on everyone, reminding them of their duty towards the country and inspiring them to contribute positively to the nation's progress.
