ARMED FORCES FLAG DAY

Armed Forces Flag Day was commemorated in our school with great vigour and enthusiasm. Importance of the day was highlighted through a heart rending skit in which the students depicted the struggles and hardships the soldiers underwent to safeguard their country and finally lost their lives and became martyrs. The fire of patriotism was kindled in all the students and teachers as the eyes of each member of Carmel family was filled with tears at the end of the programme Highlights of the day included patriotic dances, songs and inspirational thoughts on three wings – Navy, Air-force and Army all based on their great sacrifices. The Principal of the school, Rev. Sr. Rosmy encouraged everybody to be true patriots in all walks of their life.
