On March 1st, 2025, Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, hosted a vibrant Orientation Program and Funday for Kindergarten parents in the school's auditorium. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and enlightenment. This auspicious start was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by the Principal, Sr. Rose Tom, who emphasized the importance of parental involvement in early childhood education.

The Kindergarten Headmistress, Sr. Ance, extended a floral welcome to the esteemed resource person, highlighting the school's tradition of honoring guests with grace and warmth. The Vice Principal, Sr. Anija, along with the dedicated team of teachers, meticulously coordinated the day's events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

The Funday was packed with engaging activities designed to foster parent-child bonding and showcase the talents of both. The "Hold Your Baby & Run" race saw enthusiastic parents sprinting towards the finish line, carrying their little ones with joy and laughter. The "Smart Baby Walk" encouraged parents to creatively walk hand-in-hand with their children, resulting in delightful and heartwarming displays of coordination and imagination.

The Talent Hunt segment provided a platform for parents and children to exhibit their unique skills, be it singing, dancing, storytelling, or mimicry. Each performance was met with applause, reflecting the diverse talents within the school community. A standout moment was the "3-Generation Dance," where grandparents, parents, and children danced together, embodying the essence of familial unity and tradition.

Throughout the day, various sports activities and cultural programs were conducted, adding to the festive atmosphere. Parents actively participated, reliving their childhood and creating lasting memories with their children. The event culminated in a prize distribution ceremony, acknowledging and celebrating the efforts and talents of participants. The program concluded on a patriotic note with the rendition of the national anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present.
