TASTE OF INDIA
"Taste of India" was held on 4th October 2024 in the school premises, bringing together students to showcase their culinary skills, cultural diversity, from various states .The event aimed to highlight the richness of India's culinary heritage while encouraging innovation and creativity in the kitchen. Each team represented a different state, offering not only dishes but also a glimpse into the culture and tradition of the region through food, attire, and presentation.

The grand prize, Culinary Champion of India, was awarded to the team from Delhi, who scored the highest overall points, excelling across multiple categories and displaying outstanding skill in every aspect of the competition. Delhi also won the Team Synergy Award, for their excellent teamwork, and the Hygiene Hero award for maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout.

Kerala earned notable recognition, winning in three categories: Flavour Maestro for their most delicious and well-balanced dish, Authenticity Ace for staying true to traditional flavors and preparation methods, and Best Aroma Appeal for presenting a dish with the most enticing aroma.

Rajasthan was awarded the Cultural Ambassador title for their exquisite representation of the state's culture through both food and attire, while West Bengal took home the Presentation Prodigy award for their visually stunning and creative dish presentation.

Punjab won the Best Culinary Storyteller award, captivating the judges with their insightful explanation of the cultural significance of their dish. The team from Gujarat took home the Fusion Innovator title for their creative blending of traditional and modern elements.

The teams from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana were also celebrated, with Uttar Pradesh receiving the Attire Excellence award for their authentic and well-presented traditional attire, and Haryana winning the Visual Feast Award for a presentation that beautifully captured the essence of their state's culinary tradition.

Rounding out the awards, Madhya Pradesh claimed the Quick Chef title for efficiently managing their time without sacrificing quality. The event was a spectacular display of culinary talent, cultural pride, and teamwork, leaving the audience and participants with a deep appreciation for the diversity of Indian cuisine.
