ROLE PLAY ON HISTORICAL CHARACTERS
The Role Play Competition on the theme "Historical Characters" for Classes VI to VIII was successfully conducted on 3rd October 2024. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 30 students, with the primary objective of fostering a deeper understanding of India's rich history and cultural heritage through interactive performances. It aimed to enhance historical awareness, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and public speaking skills among the participants.
The students impressed the judges with their extensive historical knowledge, well-researched enactments, and impressive communication skills. Their creative use of costumes and props added a sense of authenticity to their portrayals. Participants were evaluated on theme relevance, costume, enactment, and adherence to the time limit.
The winners were:
FIRST PRIZE: Abdul Zainab (VI C)
SECOND PRIZE: Aradhya Singh Chidar (VI C), Aarna Patel (VI A)
THIRD PRIZE: Garima Waiker (VIII D)
