EXTEMPORE COMPETITION
An Extempore Competition was held on 2nd August 2024, for students of classes VI to VIII. The event saw enthusiastic participation from a total of 40 students, each showcasing their speaking abilities and critical thinking skills.
The primary aim of the competition was to enhance the speaking skills of the students and build their confidence in public speaking. Additionally, it sought to encourage the students to develop their critical thinking abilities, articulate their thoughts clearly, and foster effective communication skills.
Each participant was given their topic 5 minutes before their turn to speak, challenging them to think quickly and present their ideas coherently. The students were evaluated based on their content, presentation, pronunciation, and voice modulation, ensuring a holistic assessment of their performance.
The competition was a great success, reflecting the students' dedication and the effectiveness of such initiatives in developing essential life skills.
