Special Assembly on Guru Purnima and Shiksha Saptah- 30 July 2026
A special assembly on the themes “Guru Purnima” and “Shiksha Saptah” was conducted on 30 July 2026 by the students of Classes X-C and X-E, along with the School Cabinet. The assembly aimed to highlight the significance of teachers in shaping young minds and to celebrate the importance of education and learning.
The assembly began with an introduction to the significance of Guru Purnima and Shiksha Saptah. The students presented a soulful prayer song dedicated to Guru Purnima, followed by inspiring thoughts. The importance of Guru Purnima and Shiksha Saptah was beautifully explained, emphasising the invaluable role of teachers and the transformative power of education.
The students presented a theme song on Shiksha Saptah, followed by an engaging and meaningful skit depicting the importance of teachers, education, and the teacher-student relationship. An energetic dance performance further added enthusiasm and vibrancy to the celebration.
As a special gesture of gratitude and respect, the School Cabinet felicitated the Principal, Vice Principal, and teachers, expressing appreciation for their guidance, dedication, and contribution to the growth of the students.
The assembly also included the news reading, followed by the Principal's Message, which inspired the students to value their teachers, embrace learning, and strive for excellence. The entire programme was supported by an impressive LED presentation, which enhanced the visual appeal and effectiveness of the assembly.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving the students with a renewed sense of gratitude towards their teachers and a deeper appreciation for the value of education.
