CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
The festive spirit of Christmas descended upon our school campus in a grand celebration characterized by spiritual depth and vibrant artistry. The event commenced with the ceremonial escorting of our Chief Guest, Rev. Father Jose Prakash, Director of Divya Vani Sangh, Bhopal, followed by a soulful prayer song that set a serene tone for the morning. Sacred readings from the Holy Bible and a prayer invoked divine blessings, leading into a formal introduction and a warm welcome. As a token of our esteem, a bouquet was presented to Rev. Father Jose Prakash, whose presence added significant grace to the occasion.
The heart of the morning was a meticulously crafted assembly presented by Class VI B. Through eloquent quotes and a poignant skit, the students redefined Christmas as a "Celebration of Humanity." Their performance served as a timely reminder that in an era where kindness and genuine human connection are often overlooked, the essence of the season lies in our ability to love one another and reconnect with our inner selves. The presentation also shed light on the symbolic importance of the Christmas tree, framing it as a beacon of unity that transcends boundaries.
The jubilant atmosphere was further elevated by melodic carols and an adorable dance performance by our Kindergarten students. In his address, Rev. Father Jose Prakash lauded the assembly, noting that the students’ portrayal of the Christmas story evoked a "heavenly feeling." He delivered an inspiring message, encouraging the congregation to entrust their burdens and aspirations to the feet of Jesus. Following this, the Prize Distribution ceremony honoured the achievements of our talented students, punctuated by a second harmonious carol and the presentation of floral greetings to the Sisters, extending heartfelt Christmas wishes.
The celebration took an intellectual turn with a creative skit dedicated to National Mathematics Day, highlighting the genius of Srinivasa Ramanujan and the wonder of his "magic square." This seamless blend of festive joy and academic appreciation culminated in a spirited Celebration Dance. The excitement reached its zenith with the much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus, whose presence brought infectious laughter and cheer to the students. The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude to all who contributed to making this double celebration of faith and wisdom a resounding success.
