WORKSHOP ON CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
A workshop on Classroom Management was organized by Full Marks for teachers on 25th October 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The session was conducted by Mr. Varun Sharma, the author of “Communicating Over Troubled Waters.” He is known for his expertise in innovative teaching strategies and is well-versed with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Mr. Sharma is also a certified storyteller from the British Council. The workshop focused on effective classroom communication, decision-making, and teacher efficiency. Mr. Sharma highlighted the importance of clear and positive communication, discussing mitigated speech, commands, obligations, suggestions, and preferences. He introduced Eisenhower’s Decision Matrix as a useful tool for prioritizing tasks and improving classroom management. Teachers were also advised to avoid common mistakes such as making idle threats, engaging in conflicts, showing personal biases, being disorganized, and giving unclear instructions. The workshop was highly interactive and included discussions and activities that encouraged teachers to reflect on and improve their classroom practices. Overall, it was an insightful and enriching session that provided teachers with practical tools to create a more effective and positive learning environment.
