INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR NATURAL DISASTER REDUCTION
A special assembly of Class VI D was organized in the school auditorium on 14th October to mark the International Day for Natural Disaster Reduction. The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer song, followed by a heartfelt prayer seeking peace, safety, and well-being for all. The introduction emphasized the significance of disaster awareness and preparedness in today’s world.
Students shared inspiring quotes on resilience, compassion, and humanity to motivate their peers. A thought-provoking skit was performed, highlighting the importance of safety measures and responsible behavior during natural calamities. The assembly concluded with a pledge, in which all students vowed to remain vigilant, assist others in times of need, and actively promote knowledge about disaster prevention.
The event was both informative and engaging, successfully conveying the vital message of preparedness, empathy, and social responsibility.
