Hindi Debate Competition
A House-wise Hindi Debate Competition was held on 8th October 2025 on the thought-provoking topic “The Dangers and Usefulness of Artificial Intelligence.” The event witnessed a spirited exchange of ideas, showcasing the students’ eloquence, reasoning, and awareness of contemporary issues.
In Phase I, participants put forth compelling arguments both in favour of and against the motion. After a close contest, Niharika R. J. Sharma (XII B, Angel House) was adjudged Best Speaker – In Favour, while Darshini Joshi (XII B, Niagara House) secured the title of Best Speaker – Against. The award for Best Presenter – In Favour went to Anya Gupta (XI A, Niagara House), and Anika Goswami (IX B, Angel House) was named Best Presenter – Against.
In the Second Phase, which showcased the overall team performance, Niagara House emerged as the Winner, while Victoria House was declared the Runner-up.
The competition reflected the students’ critical thinking and oratory skills, making it a truly engaging and insightful event.
