Gandhi Jayanti Celebration
Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great reverence and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with Bible reading and a soulful prayer, setting a serene and devotional tone for the day. A special assembly by Class VII C followed, beautifully highlighting the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. The event began with an introduction on the significance of the day, reminding everyone of Gandhiji’s ideals of truth, non-violence, and simplicity. Thought-provoking skits depicting important episodes from his life were presented by the students, conveying his message of peace and unity. Inspiring quotes of the Mahatma were shared, encouraging all to imbibe his values in daily life. The celebration concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour.
