INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – 2025
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotic fervor and pride at Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School on 15th August 2025 . The event commenced with a ceremonial Band Welcome for the Chief Guest Rev.Fr. Issac Ekka ,the School Principal Rev Sr RoseTom,Vice Principal Rev. Sr. Josmin, followed by the solemn hoisting of the tricolour and a resonant rendition of the National Anthem , instilling a deep sense of national pride. The Chief Guest was then formally introduced and honoured with a floral bouquet.
The festivities continued with a disciplined NCC March Past and an energetic P.T. Display, reflecting the students' discipline and vitality. A melodious solo performance by Ishita Kaur Sehra (Class I) enchanted everyone, followed by a thoughtful assembly on the significance of Independence Day, presented by Class IX D.
The cultural segment featured an adorable KG Dance , radiating youthful exuberance, while the Junior Group moved hearts with a soulful patriotic song . The Hindi Medium Dance added a vibrant cultural flair, celebrating India’s diverse heritage.
The Chief Guest’s address was a key highlight, as he applauded the hard work of students and staff, encouraging everyone to uphold the values of freedom and responsibility. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony , recognizing outstanding achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. The Senior Group’s stirring patriotic performance further amplified the spirit of nationalism.
The grand finale, a captivating dance performance left the audience spellbound. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all contributors and dignitaries, bringing a fitting close to a day filled with pride and inspiration.
The celebration stood as a testament to the school’s dedication to nurturing patriotism, unity, and cultural appreciation among its students.
