CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION

A week long constitution day celebration was held from 21st Nov 2016  to 26th Nov 2016.During these days students of 9th to 12th  standard presented their views on fundamental rights and duties. An essay competition on the topic “Preamble is the soul of Indian Constitution” was organized for the students of classes 9th to 10th.

On 25th Nov Constitution day Quiz was also conducted for the students of classes 6th to 8th (category 1) & for the students of classes 9th  to 12th (category 2). On 26th Nov, students of class 6th  C presented  the morning assembly on the topic “Constitution Day” & highlighted the importance of fundamental duties as enshrined in the Article 51-A. Mass reading of the Preamble was done. Rev. Sr. Rose Tom, the school Principal motivated the students to practice the principles of the constitution through her speech. The school Vice - Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Kripa also encouraged the students to follow the path of peace and unity. Ms.Violet, Social Studies faculty member gave briefing about the Preamble.
