CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION

A week long constitution day celebration was held from 21^st Nov 2016 to 26^th Nov 2016.During these days students of 9^th to 12^thstandard presented their views on fundamental rights and duties. An essay competition on the topic â€œPreamble is the soul of Indian Constitutionâ€ was organized for the students of classes 9^thto 10^th.

On 25^th Nov Constitution day Quiz was also conducted for the students of classes 6^th to 8^th (category 1) & for the students of classes 9^th to 12^th (category 2). On 26^th Nov, students of class 6^th C presented the morning assembly on the topic â€œConstitution Dayâ€ & highlighted the importance of fundamental duties as enshrined in the Article 51-A. Mass reading of the Preamble was done. Rev. Sr. Rose Tom, the school Principal motivated the students to practice the principles of the constitution through her speech. The school Vice - Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Kripa also encouraged the students to follow the path of peace and unity. Ms.Violet, Social Studies faculty member gave briefing about the Preamble.
