70^th REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

Celebrations at Carmel, Ratanpur marked the 70^th Republic Day, a day of dignity and honour for every Indian. Shri. R. T. Paramhans, D.IG. of Police, CRPF, Bhopal was the chief guest on the occasion. The school principal Rev. Sr. Rosmy ushered the chief guest at the time of the school band for the unfurling of the tri - colour flag.
Amidst great solemnity the day began. Prayer dance invoked the divine presence followed by special assembly by VIII C students. In their assembly, the students recalled the sacrifices of great freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the nation. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest made mention of the great roll of honour stretched around the clock. Highlights of the day included patriotic songs, dances and speech which enlivened the spirit of all those who were present.
