On 6 Jan. 2018, St. Chavara's death anniversary was commemorated in the school. On this occasion a special assembly was conducted by the students of class VIII C, which highlighted the life and achievements of ST. Chavara, who desired that every child should receive education and respect their parents. He emphasized that children should spend their free time in reading books. He initiated the mid day meal in schools and was the first person to start a Sanskrit School in Kerala. Students belonging to different caste sat and studied together which was a revolution. A blissful dance showcased the numberless good deeds done by St. Chavara. Rev. Sr. Rosmy, Our Principal reminded the students to follow St. Chavara's teachings and most importantly to thank their parents for giving them education. Prize distribution for achievements in various competition was held. The event came to an end with the National Anthem.
